Ukraine Russia War - LIC IPO pe Kuch Impact Hoga Kya?

Russia aur Ukraine ke war ne ek ajib sa high volatile environment tayyar kar dia hai aur issi ke wajah se aaj har jagah high volatility dekhne ko mil raha hai fir chahe wo global markets ho, inflation ho, ya fir international oil prices ho! Indian markets ka bhi kuch khaas haal nahi hai balki market lagatar downtrend mai hi hai. In fact, Russian sanctions ke fear se kaafi sectors ke shares toh ‘decline mode’ mai hi hain.

Lekin aise situation mai bhi Indian Government LIC ka IPO ke liye tayyar hai. In fact, ab toh LIC mai foreign direct investment bhi hoga. Aayie chaliye dekhte hain ki agar LIC ka IPO iss mahine aaya toh kya Russia-Ukraine war ka impact iss IPO pe bhi hoga?

Isse War ka Impact India Par Bhi Padega aur Saath hi Badhega Inflation

The invasion of Ukraine is leading to rise in oil prices, and it can pose a risk to India’s rising inflation. Well, kyunki India 80% oil import karti hai – toh jaise hi oil ka price badhega india ka balance sheet bhi bigdega kyunki import billing badhega. Aur fir kharab hoga India ka capital flow aur external position.

Analysts ke hisaab se agar 10% bhi oil prices mai hike hua toh India ka current account deficit almost $15bn bhad sakta hai – which will have a negative impact on INR. After all, India is world’s third largest crude oil importer.

Iske alawa crude-oil se related products ‘Wholesale price inflation’ basket mai kuch 7.3% ka weightage hota hai. Toh agar 10% bhi oil price badha toh direct aur indirect impact milake kuch 1% increase ho sakta hai wholesale price inflation mai.

Edible Sunflower oil ke liye bhi India imports par hi dependent hai especially Ukraine. India har mahine kariban 2 lakh ton sunflower seed oil import karti hai aur kabhi kabhi ye 3 lakh ton tak bhi jaata hai. Aapko bata dun agar India 100 litre sunflower oil import karti hai toh 70 litre Ukraine se aata hai, 20 litre Russia se aur 10 litre Argentina se – jee han, India ka 90% imported sunflower oil Ukraine-Russia se aata hai, isliye iss war ka asar India ke cooking oil pe toh padega hi.

Aur agar NATO ne Russia ke Oil products par sanctions laga diye, toh oil prices aur bhi badh hi jayenge

Crude oil mai 10% increase matlab every litre of petrol and diesel will increase by 8 or 9 rupees.  Aur agar ye conflict escalate hua toh crude oil prices bhi badhenge, petrol diesel bhi badhenge, cooking oil bhi badhenge aur saath hi badhenge hamare energy bills.

War ke baad toh oil prices kam ho jaane ki umeed hai, lekin abhi yeh nahi pata yeh war kab tak chalega.

Ab aate hain LIC ke IPO par –

Government aur Finance Ministry har wo koshish kar rahi hai jisse ki LIC IPO ek successful IPO saabit ho sake. Government ne LIC mai 20% tak ka Foreign Direct Investment bhi allow kar dia hai. Jiska matlab hai ki foreign portfolio investors bhi ab LIC ke shares secondary market mai kharid sakte hain.

Yeh ek kaafi positive signal hai investors ke liye aakhir India apne aap ko ek attractive investment destination saabit karne ke koshish mai hai, aur global investors ko bhi acha khassa mauka de rahi hai LIC ke IPO mai. Aur ab foreign investment LIC mai hi nahi balki dusre corporate bodies mai bhi aayenge.

LIC ke valuation ko leke kaafi analyst aur experts pareshan hain aur unka maan-na hai ki investors ko LIC IPO se dur hi rehna chahiye, lekin agar LIC ka financial records, profits aur historical record dekha jaye toh ye IPO ek golden chance hai especially LIC policyholders ke liye jinko shares discounted price pe mil rahe hain.
