RIL ka annual virtual AGM hua 25th June ko.
Isme RIL ka ek naya Pivot clearly dikhne ko mila hai. Pivot ka matlab hai ek
traditional business route se alag jaake doosre route me enter karna. RIL, jo
desh ka aur duniya ka one of the biggest business houses me se hai, usko aisi
kya zaroorat aa gayi ki wo apna traditional business model chor ke naye
business model me ghus raha hai? Aur kya kya kaha gaya is AGM me? Kya Oil
business chhod degi Reliance? Analysts kya kehte hain? Aaj ke post me sab kuch
detail me btaunga main. Lekin uske liye post ko end tak Read kriye aur blog ko

AGM ke
details
- Saudi Aramco
Deal: Is deal ko 2021 ke end tak finalize karne ki baat kahi gayi hai.
Pehle socha jaa raha tha ke Q2 ke end tak ye deal finalize ho jayega. 2019
me is deal ke baare me announcement kiya gaya tha. RIl ne kaha tha ke wo
Oil to Chemical business ka 20% stake, $15 Billion me Araco ko sell karegi.
Lekin Pandemic aur Oil prices ke fluctuation ke wajah se Aramco ke saath
valuation me baat atak gayi. Abhi 2021 end tak ka timeline diya gaya hai.
- 3.24 Lakh
crore Capital Infusion: Duniya me,
1 saal ke andar sabse zyada capital raise karne ka record banaya hai RIl
ne. Retail, Jio business me stake sell, rights issue aur asset
monetization karke ye $44 Billion ka funds raise kiya hai Reliance ne.
- ARAMCO
chairman on RIL board: Saudii Aramco ke cash rich chairman Othman
Al-Rumayyan, ek Independent director ke hsaab se RIL ke board of directors
me join karenge. Ye decision ARAMCO ke saath $15 Billion ke deal ko final
karne ke liye hi liya gaya hai.
- Jio phone
Next: Pichla Jio phone bahut zyada successful nahi ho paya tha, is baar
RIL ne september 10 tak naye Jio phones ko market me laane ka announcement
kiya hai. Is bar bhi inka pitch wahi hai ki duniya ka sabse affordable
smartphone hone wala hai ye Jio Phone. Lekhna dekhna ye hoga ke kitna
popular ho paata hai.
- Google Ke
saath 5G: 5G ke naam pe bahut hawa banaya jaa raha hai. Google ke saath
bhi RIL ka partnership ka plan announce kiya gaya hai. Google ka tech
support mil gaya to fir RIL apne top competitors jaise Amazon ko digital
space me bhi beat kar payegi. Yahi primary target hoga Google ke saath
partnership ke peeche.
- Green Energy
push: sabse bada announcement aur pivot yahi tha. Isme lagbhag agle 3 saal
me 75000 Crore kharcha karne wali hai RIL. isme 60000 Crore 3 Giga
Factories banane me jayega, jo Solar Power projects, electric batteries
jaise components ko manufacture karegi, aur desh ke total Green energy
output ka 40% produce karegi. Ye primary shift hai RIL ke liye, kyun ki ab
tak RIL ka primary business model tha Fossil Fuel based, lekin desh ke
number 2 business person Gautam Adani ke Green energy push se shayad RIL
inspire hua hai.
Ab in sab pointers ko dekhein to sabse
important do baatein hai,
- FOssil Fuel
based business shayad ab profitable nahi raha, isliye Green Energy pe
focus kiya jaa raha hai.
- Jitna din
jayega, unke Oil to Chemical business ka price kam hota jayega, valuation
aur kam hoga, deal me paisa kam aayega, aur yee baat samne aate hi Shares
fall karenge. Isliye primary target RIl ka ye hoga ki wo apne O2C business
ko ARAMCO ko jaldi se jaldi bech de.

Analysts
kya kehte hain
Morgan
Stanley | Rating: Overweight | Target: Rs 2,262. The
company is focused on the next hyper growth opportunity in clean technology.
The ‘MEGA’ plan is unique in a global context and can spur re-rating. The ‘MEGA’
plan raises investment cycle clarity & reduces holding company discount
worry. The shift in capital allocation to renewables/decarbonisation capex
should lift multiples, while the company’s partnership approach in the new
energy business should not cause de-rating.
CLSA |
Rating: Outperform | Target: Rs 2,250. The company
exhibited hopes of closing the O2C stake sale with Aramco this year. The
clarity on the new energy foray is useful. Any big take-up of new smartphones
to be an important trigger, while progress in teh omni-channel retail will also
be an important trigger.
JPMorgan
| Rating: Neutral | Target: Raised to Rs 2,250 from Rs 2,055. The key highlight was $10 billion capex in green/renewable business
over three years. The broking house has build in Rs 100 per share in its target
price for new energy/renewable business. The company is clearly embarking on a
new capex cycle, though it looks smaller at this stage versus previous cycles.
Value accretion to increase as the company ramps up execution on these
businesses.
